If your business simply wants Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Sales as a single base application, it will cost £71.60 per user, per month, or as an attached application it’s £15.10 per user per month.
The Professional version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales has some limitations when compared to the Enterprise version and full Customer Engagement Plan, but is available for nearly half the cost.
It gives all the core sales functions at a reduced rate for businesses with simpler sales force needs.
Sales Professional helps sellers get started with just the capabilities that are needed right now. With the role-based setup that Professional licenses use, you are able to have a quick implementing in just a few days without spending extra time and money.
While the Enterprise licence costs slightly more a month, you do get a significant increase in functionality in comparison to the Professional licence. In addition to the access you get as part of the Professional licence, you also have access to marketing capabilities, such as lists and campaigns that are exclusive to the Enterprise licenses. You will also have access to forecasting, competitor tracking and the knowledge-base.
It is also important to note that Sales Professional licences do not include entitlement to run custom applications or access custom portals. Sales Enterprise licences enable unlimited access across custom apps and portals where these are deployed in the same environment as Dynamics 365.
